The Festival – The Ariston

I decided to leave the night before
Oh and my cousin paid for the ride down
But now I’m driving at 90
To get back to Warrington
In the front of your French-made car

But you just look like anyone
Who spent the night out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But you’re just stood there screaming out my name
And it’s funny you’re emotional
When I tell you I’m out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But’s it’s OK we’ll never be this high again

But now Lola’s gone and we’ve parked up
And we’re running up and up
To the other bands we’ve never heard before
And it’s OK cause we’re all insatiable
And we all just dance out to Joy Division
And put your hands up and make me see
This vision that’s moving closer and closer and closer and closer
Oh just forget it

But you just look like anyone
Who spent the night out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But you’re just stood there screaming out my name
And it’s funny you’re emotional
When I tell you I’m out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But’s it’s OK we’ll never be this high again

I spent the night out on the town again
I spent the night out on the town again
I spent the night out on the town again
I spent the night out on the town again

I spent the night out on the...

But you just look like anyone
Who spent the night out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But you’re just stood there screaming out my name
And it’s funny you’re emotional
When I tell you I’m out on the town again
I’m running to the festival
But’s it’s OK we’ll never be this high again
