The Ariston are releasing The Festival
Two years after releasing their first studio track Yellow Lines, The Ariston are about to release their second one. The song is called The Festival and they have been playing it live since 2022.
We're now able to share a clip containing the studio recording. Here's the band playing their new track in the recording studio:
We got some interesting information from the band, ahead of the release:
"This release will be in dolby atmos meaning that apple music listeners with airpods will be able to benefit from the 8D audio, spatial audio, surround sound, binaural benefits that only the big artists have right now. With this release it's a huge step up in terms of production, whilst still being produced by us (mainly our lead guitarist Clay) the track was assisted on by Barny Barnicott (mixed Sam Fender, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, among many many more) and mastered by Tim Debney (mastered No Time To Die, Lily Allen, many many many more)".
The story behind the lyrics
The Ariston write songs based on real situations and The Festival is no exception. They were playing at a festival. Luca went over there in Will's Peugeot ("french made car"), the car broke down on the way and they were running to the festival. Then Luca remembers a girl screaming his name as they were playing.
Here’s a clip of The Ariston playing The Festival at The Grace, just a few days ago:
Speaking to artsymix.com on Tuesday 23/4, frontman Luca Slade said the band are planning to release more studio tracks, as they only have Yellow Lines at the moment. So, The Festival becomes their 2nd studio track. They're working very hard these days to produce even more tracks, so don't be surprised if you see them on a releasing spree over the next few months. An EP is definitely a possibility for this year.
The release date is 10/5/2024. Click here to presave The Festival.
