Two exciting new releases
Two exciting new releases are coming in the next few hours, by two very talented young indie rock singers, and you can get a taste of them here before they are released.
New release 1: Get Me Started by Tom A Smith, Thursday at 7:30pm
The singer/songwriter from Sunderland who has already played at Glastonbury 4 times, has been sharing previews of his new song on social media in the last few days. He has finally confirmed the time of the release, which is 7:30pm on Thursday 21 March 2024. Before that, Clara Amfo will play the song for the first time in a show that starts at 6pm on BBC Radio1. So, if you want to hear the whole song as early as possible, make sure you tune into BBC Radio1 from 6pm. For now, here is a preview to get you started:
In an interview with ArtsyMix in January, Tom A Smith talked about his plan to write songs with live shows in mind. Get Me Started is another song that is expected to get the crowd involved. Just from the short clips that he has shared so far, people are already getting excited about it.

New Release 2: Freedom by Harvey Jay Dodgson, Friday 00:00
The wait is finally over. Harvey Jay Dodgson is releasing Freedom at midnight. The singer/songwriter from Portsmouth had been playing the song in live shows for many months and a lot of people already know all the lyrics. Here is a clip of Harvey playing the song at The Camden Assembly in November 2023:
In an interview with artsymix.com in December 2023, he said that he mentioned that he had the song produced in Germany and he was planning to release it. He also explained what Freedom is about.
