A crowd-lifting anthem

Pre-release review: Lost – Revivalry
After marking a new era with the release of The Town, followed by the naughty Two Sips, Revivalry are back with a song that is already very popular. It’s a song that gets the fans going at live shows. A crowd-lifting anthem.
If you liked the idea of Freddie Mercury getting the crowd to join in with his voice warming up routine at Wembley, you’ll probably be happy to join in with “pa pa ra ra ta ra ra ra ta” when Revivalry are playing live in front of you.
Like with Two Sips, the lyrics are not exactly reflecting their lives at their current age. The script is set on a hypothetical situation of someone older than them. There’s one element that leaves no margin for argument on that, which is the reference to 20 years, while in reality their oldest member, Lewis, has just turned 18. But it’s still a very interesting scenario that people are happy to get into.
Obviously they don’t have to worry about minimum age, as they have a great career in music ahead of them, but the song is yet more evidence of their brilliant creativity in both lyrics and music. Their songwriting is way beyond their years. The element of excitement build up in the song, as they had been playing it live for a very long time, shows how much time, effort and creativity they put into their work. Their lyrics are clever and with no hesitation for a bit of self sarcasm. And when it’s time to take the song to the studio, they work with people who are able to take it to the next level.
As soon as you start playing the track, the excitement is already starting to build up. It will not take you long to not just sing along, but to also feel it all over your body.
Here is a video of the band playing the song live at The Troubadour, with the crowd singing along, before Ben shows off his incredible guitar skills at the age of 17. That's where you insert the head explosion emoji.
The official video – Kendal Calling
They’ve been playing that song for a long time at gigs and festivals, including the main stage at Kendal Calling. In fact, as they had done plenty of filming there, they’ve decided that the official video of the song Lost, will consist of just footage from Kendal Calling.
In the band’s interview with Artsymix a few months ago, Josh said stages aren’t big enough and they want bigger. He’s probably just about happy with the size of that stage. As we can see in the video, both Josh and Ben covered every inch of that stage, while Lewis was giving absolutely every bit of energy. They certainly didn’t look one bit intimidated by the size of the event and the stage. They totally looked like they belonged there.
The official video ends with a brilliant moment of the boys looking extremely happy and slightly overwhelmed, having just played on the Main Stage at Kendal Calling festival, in front of a very large crowd. It was a moment of realization of what just happened, a moment of living the dream. But there are even bigger things coming their way. Their potential has no limit.
