Emergency Break are releasing their identity song

Emergency Break are well and truly entering a new era, as they’re about to release more studio tracks to add to Pyro, just days after they embarked on their longest ever run of live shows. They’re emerging. They’re breaking through. This journey is going to be a lot of fun.
The 6-piece rock band had recently planned to release Outsiders as their 2nd single. But they changed their mind and they’re instead releasing Everything You Make I Break. Because they’re a rock band with a rebel attitude and they can change their minds and do whatever they want.

Emergency Break are releasing Everything You Make I Break on Friday 7 June 2024.

If you like Outsiders, don’t worry. They may have said “why don’t you step outside”, but it will still be released later. In the meantime, they'll continue to play it live.

Everything You Make I Break is a proper bad boy song and this is exactly what Emergency Break want to put out there as their identity. Anarchic, aggressive, punk, you name it. It’s treated as their flagship song that determines their sound and attitude.

It’s not a surprise that the song has an unconventional structure which doesn’t follow the rules. That’s the point. The song basically starts from the chorus, followed by a part which is pretty much a bridge that is repeated later in the song. And where they go from that bridge back into the chorus, it sounds like they’ve found a sweet-spot transition, that sends waves of excitement and gets the listener to connect with the song even more, wanting to belt it out. Anyone who listens to Everything You Make I Break and doesn’t feel it in their chest, can just cry in the town hall.

The production is a step up compared to Pyro, especially when it comes to mixing, as Leo’s voice is standing out, while the distorted guitar sound, blends in perfectly. It’s a sign of what is about to follow, with their first EP being on the way, containing some of the currently unreleased songs they had been playing live for months.

You may want to follow ArtsyMix on Instagram, as there may be little previews of the production, from next week. Possibly from Monday.
