Big Image at Colours Hoxton in London
The old heavy TV sets that connect to VHS video players, made their way to London, as Big Image were playing at London’s venue Colours Hoxton in Old Street. The band have been supporting Tom A Smith in his May Headline Tour. And the word “supporting” has a more significant meaning in this case. Since drummer Frazer Graham was unwell before the gig in Bristol on Wednesday, Big Image drummer Seb stepped in to save the day and kept playing for Tom as long as Frazer was recovering.
George, Connor, Luke and Seb played 7 tunes, including their new single Lost Souls. It's a song that works very well with live shows and George made sure he got the crowd prepared to interact with it from the start.
The 4-piece band did a great job warming up the crowd for the Headline Act, with their up-beat catchy songs and with George's interactions with the crowd.
Weekend Day
This is a new song that has to be released and be discovered by more people. And they may be already tempted to release it. It's called Weekend Day.
In the end, when George said Club was their last tune for the evening, the fans were gutted, as you can see in the video.
As George said, during this tour they had the chance to play at venues they haven't played at before. They also picked up some new fans along the way.
